Zodiac Sign: Tiger
Immediate Family: Natalia, Allyson (Daughters) Haroun (Son), Rose (Sister)
Distant Family: 10 other siblings, her father and mother.
Childhood: Lexia spent most of her childhood getting in trouble with her siblings. She was extremely mischievous and pulled pranks on everyone ALL the time. She rarely was caught, but once in a while she and her siblings would get in trouble for what they did. Her favorite story to tell was when she was at school and one of the teachers was being unfair to her. She ignored it for a time, but after a while she got this “brilliant” idea to give the teacher brownies with laxative chocolate in them. The teacher was then absent from school for a few days, and I’m sure you can easily guess why.
Adolescence: During her teen years, Lexia found herself pretty much given the role of a mother to her youngest sister. She was responsible for her care, and was happy about it. She had always loved children, so being able to take care of one was great as far as she was concerned.
Adulthood: At this age, Lexia went off to college. Her original intent was to study law, but this was not the path chosen for her. The looped earring on her ear remained without a charm and she intended to keep it that way, but as I said before, nothing went according to plan. She met a large bull-like creature during her first days at college, and immediately thought he was extremely annoying and did her best to avoid him. By chance, all of the friends she made at college knew him, and he ended up hanging out with them often. She got to know him, and the loathing for him began to fade. One day he asked her to go out with him, and she accepted. She had figured it wouldn’t go much further than one date, but when they went out, he explained to her that unless she felt she was ready for a relationship, he didn’t want to distract her from what was really important. This made her irritated because she felt herself begin to like him. Eventually, a relationship did form, and the charm on her earring came in the form of Darian’s tail. Not long after, they were engaged and married.
Lexia hoped with all of her being that one of her children would be her destined "apprentice", so when she saw the wing begin to form on her necklace at the young age of 14, she got extremely excited for the future. Many years later, when she had her three children, none of them matched the wing, which upset her. In her irritation, she caused the charm to temporarily disappear so she would be able to momentarily forget about it and focus on her own children. For around four years it remained invisible, until the first year she started teaching, she began to feel a warmth on her chest, and much to her dismay, the charm was glowing. She then saw him, the 14 year old dog that was to act as her fourth child. She was destined to bring him up and she would accept this. At least, that was her plan, until she made eye contact with him, and he gave her a dark glare before promptly making his necklace disappear. She then realized she HAD met him before, but all she could remember was scolding him for being so close and clingy to his best friend, which she acknowledged, was a bit excessive, but necessary. Obviously when you are scolding an individual, the feeling of warmth won't be there. She observed him for a while, using her sensitivity to other's emotions to see what exactly his deal was. Generally, his emotions weren't outwardly visible, but this wasn't a problem for her. She saw almost a sort of pain in the way he carried himself, and became determined to figure out his problem.
She caught him on a day when his emotions were particularly strong, and asked him if he was okay. They had developed a decent relationship at this point, as he didn't seem to hate her anymore, so she was comfortable with asking him. What surprised her the most was that he burst into tears and just showed her his front right paw, which, once he made it visible, showed an extremely tight and thorny bracelet with a large pink feather on it. She realized that he was having issues with another of her students and the whole time when he had been hiding the pain it had, in fact, been Maddalyn's fault. He explained the whole ordeal to her and that Mercury had the same problem. Lexia told him that he would have to try to fix the relationship, or destroy it entirely to escape this, and that since she did not have a relationship with Mercury, and could not gain one of the same closeness, that he should tell him the same thing.
This caused them to grow closer, and over time Jayce gained a rather confusing admiration for her. She at first just thought it was because she had helped him with his problem, but later realized that it was something far deeper.
Many things happened in the months between school and camp, but when they went to camp she noticed Jayce being particularly strange and asked him what was wrong, he once again burst into tears, but kept telling her he didn't know what the problem was. She saw right through his lie, but decided to give him time to think it over.
The next day, he did fess up, and explained to her that he was afraid to go home. She asked him if he was comfortable explaining, and he decided to try. He told her the whole ordeal about how he used to have a necklace but it got broken by the holder themselves. Lexia herself wound up tearing up and told him her story as well, of how she had once been extremely close to her necklace bearer, but they had a large falling out due to a personality clash and their necklaces were destroyed.
Now that they have their stories shared with eachother they have an extreme closeness, comparable to that of a mother and child.
